Ruth
Rau moved to Chicago in December, 2001 from London where she worked
for Cog Design, a small design studio with mainly arts-related
clients. Her clients there included World Circuit Records, Hannibal
Records, the Barbican Centre, the Laban Centre for Contemporary
Dance, Pop-up Children's Theatre Company, and Serious Productions,
among others.
In
Chicago, Ruth's client roster includes the Chicago Cultural Center,
Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Storefront Theater, Gallery
37 Center for the Arts, Windy City Times, Remy Bumppo Theatre
Company, Dog and Pony Theatre Company, the MS150 Bike Tour, and
Fromm International, a supplier of professional salon tools.
Previous
to working at Cog, Ruth earned an MA(RCA) from the Royal College
of Art in London, and taught Design History at the University
of Central England in Birmingham.
